Architecture

Infrastructure, not another coding assistant.

Strata is not an LLM and does not write code. It is the system of record that coding agents and developers work against. The backend is written in Go and ships as Docker containers, with PostgreSQL for metadata and S3-compatible object storage for repository content.

It does not depend on a particular model provider. Any agent that speaks MCP, the native API or Git can use it.

Integration

INTEGRATE · acknowledge to agent
▲ On overlap return a structured conflict — file, region, base, overlapping revision
A change either integrates atomically and is acknowledged, or it overlaps and returns as structured data.
